Katrina - Operations Manager & Millbank Medical Practice Manager
Katrina moved from Sydney to Bundaberg in 2008 and has been at Millbank Medical Practice since 2009
She has over twenty years' experience in Medical Administration, most of that time in management.
In 2013 Katrina was awarded Queensland's Practice Manager of the Year. Katrina is recgonised as a Fellow and an Ambassador Practice Manager by the Australia Association of Practice Management.
She has a Diploma in Practice Management, a Certificate IV in Medical Assisting and a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and is currently enrolled in a Diploma of Clinical Coding broaden her management skills.
Katrina is currently training to be a surveyor to accredit general practices and currently hold a position with the Central Queensland Primary Health Network.
In 2018 Katrina joined the Australia Association of Practice Management (AAPM) QLD State Committee and is current QLD AAPM President.
Katrina is a mother to identical twin girls and loves reading in her spare time and spending time with her family.
Nursing Staff
Meet our wonderful nursing team!!
Here at Millbank Medical we have a team of three very experienced Registered Nurses: Megan, Monika, and Kaitlin and our enrolled nurse India.
With previous hospital experience in Accident and Emergency, Pediatrics and Medical/Surgical nursing, our nurses are able to adapt their prior knowledge to enhance your care.
You may see them throughout the year for your preventative health needs. This may include Immunisation, Heart checks, Health Assessments, Care Plans, Observations, Emergency care and everything else in between.
All three are extremely passionate about Nurses in the General Practice settings and work very closely with our GPs to provide you as our patients with the highest quality of care.
Primary healthcare is fast being recgonised in Australia as an imperative part of the way we practice medicine and provide care.
You will learn quickly once you meet them that they love to chat and you about 'how YOU as the patient can get better health outcomes' and are here to support you achieve these.
Admin Staff
Our fabulous Administration Team include Kym, Hayley and Teresa.
Kym has worked in many medical specialties over the years including Oncology, Aged Care, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care. You may see Kym in the treatment room as she is also a Medical Assistant and her roles assists the nurses and doctors when needed.
Hayley joined us 12 months ago and our newest team member is Teresa, who started in July 2024.
